Who owns all pieces of one color or takes the last stone at the end of the game?
The game by Dieter Stein has few rules. Therefore, it can be played from kids with 6 years of age, but also includes strategic elements for strategy gamers.
At the beginning of the game all tiles are placed randomly on the board. But there should never be two identical color blocks either horizontally or vertically adjacent.
If it is your turn, you may take one or more tiles of one color from the board and lay them in front of the board. Tokens may only be taken if they are reachable from at least two free sides and, after the turn, all remaining pieces remain connected horizontally and vertically.
Palletto is available in two versions. The smaller version comes with colorful marbles, the larger game board with colorful wooden cylinders.
